Do you believe in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist? I pray you do. And I pray all who see the decal on your vehicle is convicted in their hearts.

The Bible records how, before the destruction of the Jewish Temple in 70A.D., the Jews ritually sacrificed animals for the remission of their sins. See Deuteronomy, Leviticus, and Job
The Jewish Passover, for which God instruction the Jews to sacrifice and eat a lamb, foreshadowed the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the paschal Lamb of God, for the final and complete remission of all human sin.
In the same way God instructed the Jews to eat their Passover lamb, Jesus (the paschal Lamb of God) instructed his followers to eat His flesh and drink His blood for eternal life. See John 6:35-71. He emphasized the He was speaking literally no symbolically, although this supper would involve a spiritual reality - not cannibalism.
The Bible recounts how Jesus first instituted this special meal at the Last Supper. The Bible also describes how St Paul and the early Church understood Jesus to be speaking literally, not symbolically. 2000 years later, we Catholics still partake in the body, blood, soul and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ, at every Mass, just as He commanded.

Looking for further reading? I suggest prayerfully reading John 6. Question this...why would the Jews get so upset as to walk away from Jesus when He told them "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him." (in John 6:53-56)

As a convert to Catholicism (Tiber team 2009), for me, this was one of the easiest to grasp. Reading...prayerfully reading, Jesus is very clear what He is saying. I am grateful for the faith God has given me, and I am truly blessed to believe.
